GodinesGeneral Partner, Chief Investment Officer  Robert Godines started his career as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in the downtown Los Angeles financial district in 2000.  Despite the recession and stock market turmoil from 2000-2002, he built a successful career working with affluent clients and companies throughout Southern California, managing assets and liabilities for business owners, executives and entertainers.  Robert quickly rose to the top of his pier group and helped develop the careers of other Financial Advisors.  Robert relocated to his hometown of San Antonio in 2006 and continued with Merrill Lynch for more than 11 years.  He was recruited by BBVA Compass in 2011, serving as Vice President and Financial Advisor for Bexar County to help develop the Wealth Management Group in San Antonio. While at BBVA Compass, he received the Certified Wealth Strategist® designation through the Cannon Financial Institute. In 2013, Robert joined Martin Capital Advisors as a Financial Advisor and Partner where he created a platform for financial planning and further enhanced client relationships.

As a Financial Advisor, Robert has worked closely with affluent individuals, families, businesses and endowments to offer a client-centric approach to financial planning and investing.  He takes pride in building long-term relationships with clients based on trust and service and continues to advise many of the same clients with whom he formed relationships during the beginning stages of his financial career in Los Angeles.  Throughout his career, Robert has led high performing teams and has coached and mentored advisors to help them succeed in the business.

With the culmination of over sixteen years experience working with premier financial industry companies, Robert created Magnolia Bryce Wealth Management in December 2016.  He has done so to offer his clients a better approach to investing and securing sound financial investment returns.

Robert was born and raised in San Antonio where he attended Holy Cross High School and received his B.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating cum laude in 1999.  He is married to the beautiful Ara Celi and they have two children, ages nine and eleven.  Robert has acquired ample success in the financial services industry and has a passion for investing and serving clients, but his greatest accomplishment of all is being a great Dad!
